Almost all men are greedy by nature. Except for a few honest individuals, everyone wants easy money. A little bit of corruption is of course tolerable (considering the low salaries paid to government employees). But then, there is no limit to corruption if it becomes a habit.

Pakistan cannot survive unless the problems of illiteracy and overpopulation are solved. Illiteracy can be overcome only by making education compulsory for everyone, and preferably making it mandatory for all children to be taught in English, as is the practice in India.

In Pakistan, we can replace the present crop of illiterate clerics with those who have had a modern education. Then the change come in to the country ....

Crisis in pakistan

The latest crisis that has Pakistani’s from all walks of life up in arms is the lack of electrical power throughout the country. While rolling blackouts or load shedding as its locally known has always been a staple of daily life in Pakistan, the problem has become acute in the last couple of years. In the second half of December, the situation got so bad that WAPDA & KESC (power generation entities in Pakistan) resorted to draconian levels of load shedding. The power cuts during this time amounted to 20-22 hours a day in most small cities and even cities like Karachi were seeing 18+ hours of load shedding.

Former President Pervez Musharraf’s parting speech that ended with the stunning ‘Pakistan ka Khuda hi Hafiz’ seems coming true, as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Sunday dropped the petrol bomb on inflation-stricken 170 million people of the country by increasing the petroleum products by 5 per cent to 9 per cent with massive increase in motor gasoline (petrol) by Rs6.10, from Rs65.11 to Rs71.21 per litre, HOBC (High Octane Blending Component) by Rs7.41, to Rs86.84 from Rs79.43 per litre, with immediate effect from today (Monday, February 1, 2010).

In its notification released late on Sunday night, the Ogra also increased the price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs3.33 per litre to Rs71.99 per litre from Rs68.56, kerosene by 5 per cent from Rs60.75 to Rs64.07 per litre, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) by 5 per cent to Rs 61.07 from Rs58.10 per litre.

Two suicide attackers blew themselves up near security forces vehicles in R A Bazar area of South Cantt as crowds gathered for Friday prayers killing at least 39 people including five security personnel and injuring 95.
Five security men were dead and 15 injured in the attack.
There were two suicide bombers who attacked two military vehicles within the space of 15 seconds. The authorities have found their heads from the scene.
Rescue workers and paramedics rushed to the R A Bazaar, a densely populated area of the city. The area was crowded as the blasts occurred shortly before the main Friday prayers.
Emergency has been declared in the city hospitals where injured have been shifted.
Security forces cordoned off the area, prohibiting traffic and media men from entering the blast site.
The loud blasts were heard in a wide radius, shaking the surrounding buildings and shattering their windowpanes.
Do these terror activities in the heart of the Punjab’s capital point to security and intelligence agencies’ failure? What measures the government should adopt to pre-empt such acts of terror?what, your opinion when this problem solved

From my point of view
There are main seven problems in Pakistan.
1. SOCIOECONOMIC PROBLEMS
2. EDUCATIONAL PROBLEMS
3. HEALTH CARE PROBLEMS
4. RELIGIOUS PROBLEMS
5. IDENTITY PROBLEMS
6. POLITICAL PROBLEMS
7. HUMAN RIGHTS PROBLEMS

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS :
While I am discussing the unresolved problems of Pakistan, I am also reflecting upon the possible solutions. In this introductory article I can only enlist the solutions as each of them is deserving of a detailed discussion. For Pakistanis to make sure that Pakistan not only survives but also grows and thrives and joins the modern world by becoming a progressive and democratic state, they need to take following steps:
1. The gap between the rich and the poor has to decrease.
2. The curriculum of schools need to be reviewed so that children can receive scientific and secular education in their mother tongue. In addition, they need to develop critical and creative thinking.
3. Health care education and free health care needs to be provided to all citizens.
4. The Pakistani Constitution has to become secular and humanistic so that all citizens, especially women and minorities have equal rights and the blasphemy law is abolished.
5. Pakistanis need to become aware of their own cultural traditions and Asian identity rather than primarily identifying with a Middle Eastern identity.
6. All political parties need to present their 5 to 10 year plan to deal with serious economic, religious and social problems so that people know which party will serve them the best.
7. All political parties and citizens need to make sure that army officers stay in the army barracks and not take over the parliament in the future. For some people it might seem like a dream but all nations have to dream before the dream comes true. If Pakistanis did not fulfill that dream, I am afraid their dream might turn into a violent nightmare in the not so distant future.

Ajj ka Pakistan

In recent days Pakistan is in severe economical and political turmoil. After 18th February elections the people of Pakistan were expecting the political and economical change in the country but unfortunately so far the new government has done nothing but only trying to optimizing the benefits of NRO.

The poor people are getting poorer and there is law and order situation in country. No one is getting justice and there is no control on prices and there is no control on availability of the commodities.Infect The President of Pakistan and his allies who have been rejected by the people of Pakistan are still in power with the help of United States and establishment.

They are just there to protect United States agenda. They will never let newly elected parliament work for the benefits of the peoples of Pakistan. PPP is openly protecting Musharraf in return of NRO. They are now keeping themselves far from PML N and judges issues. If this situation remains same Pakistani will face sooner a disastrous economical and political turmoil.
